Building Surveyor

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Building Surveyor (Scotland / Hybrid).
 
The Role

• Meet with clients to discuss project ideas and construction requirements
• Building surveying and defect diagnosis on commercial / residential properties
• Carry out feasibility studies
• Draught scheme designs, cost analysis documents, timelines, and specifications for works
• Advise on health and safety aspects of construction
• Advise on boundary and wall placement
• Advise on environmental impact, energy efficiency, and sustainability
• Advise on contractors and organising documents for tender
• Dealing with planning applications on both new build / existing
• Prepare insurance assessments
• Proficient with computer aided design (CAD) software
• Advanced project management skills

  
Skills / Qualifications

• Ideally you will have prior subsidence and or perils experience (fire, flood, storm)
• You will be MRICS qualified
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service, organizational & communication skills
