Structural Engineer / Major Projects (AMIStructE)

Our client is seeking a Structural Engineer to investigate, analyse and report on structural failures to major & complex structures, damage and construction defects etc.
 
You will work from home and operate throughout The Midlands (Birmingham, Nottingham etc) regions. In terms of 'investigation', you will survey / determine causation and assess the extent of damage caused. You will write / submit full reports, outlining your findings and advising clients with regards to policy liability and nature / extent of damage.
 
As required, you will act as an Expert Witness in depositions and court proceedings regarding construction defects and/or failures.
 
Additionally, you will design repair schemes / remedial measures, as well as project manage multiple repairs, ensuring compliance with building codes and maintaining project timelines and budgets etc.
 
Ideally, you will be MIStructE qualified.
