You tell your clients to invest for the long term. Do you follow the same advice when it comes to your career?
At this company there's no validation to earn bonus and you get 10% on all your ongoing.
Not bad when you'll inherit £80,000 - £90,000 of ongoing in year one from a retiring IFA.
But it's year two where the really good stuff happens.
In year two you'll get an extra £230,000 ongoing fees from another retiring IFA. That means you'll have way over £300,000 ongoing fees which you'll be earning 10% of.
Plus your salary, plus car allowance and company profit share.
And that's without any new business, paid at 20-24%.
So when you add it all up you'll be on c£60,000 plus bonus in year one. And c£80,000 plus bonus in year two. Given the calibre and size of your client book that means you'll be a six-figure earner in the next 3-5 years.
It's also worth noting that any salary is a starting salary. The firm have introduced a career journey plan giving you a clear overview of what you need to do to rise through the ranks.
And as you grow so will your salary. And it's as transparent and accountable as you can get.
They've got a great handle on support too.
You'll have someone on hand to sort valuations and schedule meetings/reviews. And they have someone on hand for all queries relating to their client system.
Paraplanning support is not standard – for now. The company have though hired their first paraplanner and they will be growing this team in 2026.
And they're doing that because know they're not perfect. But firms that know that go out of their way to get better which is why they have invested in their compliance/T&C function. Why they’ve bolstered customer service and why they’ve added a paraplanning team.
And we know the people here well. They're a great bunch. You'll find that out at interview.
Alongside the above support you'll have a dedicated manager who is light touch but present. There's a proper induction (expensed). A proper handover from the outgoing planner. And whilst you'll work remotely you won't feel remote.
Benefits:
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
You'll be a level 4 qualified financial planner (IFA or restricted). You will need CAS and in the region 2 years+ experience as an adviser. In fact we think it will suit someone who needs 12 months to "bed in" giving you the base to kick on.
You will enjoy working in an environment where you empowered. You'll be a self-starter. And you'll have decent technical knowledge across pensions and investments in particular.
Year one clients are mostly near Guildford. Year two clients are closer to Croydon. But if you live in Surrey/South West London you'll be in a good location. There are even clients in West Sussex.
