The reason most people leave their job? It isn't money.
The main reason is that people have stopped learning and stopped developing. They don't have a clear idea where their career will take them and boredom creeps in.
That won't happen here.
At this firm you'll get the nurturing, development and career pathway you want. You'll start off as an administrator, but in the next 3-5 years you will progress, firstly into paraplanning.
Longer term you could move into advice or a leadership role if that's a path that interests you. And along the way you'll be supported through your professional exams and receive training from a business that's very good at it.
And they're good at it because they've nurtured people like you before. In fact two of their team joined the business with no experience and they're developing well. So you'll be in safe hands.
The job itself will focus to start with on providing administrative support to the firm's financial planners. They deal with a varied/challenging client book so you'll be challenged too - cashflow modelling is par for the course at this firm for example. You'll also work closely with their paraplanner.
Starting salary is to £35,000 but there's also a company bonus scheme along with pension and DIS. They will also pay for your exams.
And they operate a hybrid model post-probation - 3 days in the office, 2 from home (a sign that they trust their staff).
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
You'll be an administrator for a financial planning firm but length of service is less important than character. This is a firm that has trained up it's two current administrators out of education after all.
With this experience you'll have a decent grounding in financial planning and be keen to learn and pass exams.
Experience of Intelligent Office and Cashflow modelling tools would be beneficial too.
