Our client is seeking a Domestic Adjuster to work from an office base & operate throughout Scotland as required, handling a portfolio of domestic (buildings, contents & all risks) losses. The losses will generally be between the £0-50k in value & you will be provided with all the necessary equipment & office support. We are ideally looking for an either an Adjuster with a minimum of 2 years adjusting experience or a Claims Handler with over 3 years experience; someone with ambition who is looking to progress. ACII progression would be advantageous, but not essential; the company is looking to promote ACII / CILA progression and any other professional development deemed appropriate.

This will typically involve liaising with Loss Adjusters, policyholders, brokers and other third parties. The successful candidate will be expected to be analytical and have excellent communication skills as they will need to examine evidence and medical reports as well as negotiating liability and quantum with solicitors. Previous exposure to liability claims is essential and progress towards a professional qualification, such as ACII, would be a definite bonus. They are seeking a Senior Liability Adjuster to handle a portfolio of major property liability claims on a cradle to grave basis, with values often running in to millions of pounds. The successful candidate should be ACII/ACILA qualified and be able to demonstrate a technically strong background in Property & Liability Adjusting. Reporting skills, presentation, accuracy and marketing, as well as excellent adjusting skills are paramount.
