My client is an innovative brokerage with a head office based in Liverpool. They are owned by a progressive insurance group that has links within the construction and commercial markets throughout the UK. These links provide a great deal of business and schemes that have seen profitable growth in a very difficult insurance market.

My client is now looking to recruit a senior account executive to take charge of the Liverpool office and source new business opportunities in the commercial markets and take the benefit of the links with their holding company to also identify potential niche markets that can be capitalised upon. You will work with a small team of Account Handlers that will provide you with full technical support which will allow you to concentrate on the external aspect of buildning new client relationships.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a successful Account Executive and have knowledge across all classes of business with an emphasis on Commercial Insurance. You will have excellent contacts with key individuals at Insurance companies in the North West and be able to identify the best markets to place business with.

You will also agree a strategy in terms of taking the branch forward and working closely with the Managing Director of the Group. Previous experience of managing Account Handlers would be an advantage, but not essential as the main focus will be on growth.

This is a superb opportunity for an experienced or ambitious Account Executive to have a large input in the further growth of an established broker and making a name for yourself in the North West market. The candidate will be from the North West region and will be able to work from home, as well as visit the head office in Liverpool when the need arises.
