My client is an established Insurance Consultancy based in the North West. They provide a service to a number of large organisations and blue chip companies providing specialist Insurance advice. They assist their clients with designing an insurance programme that meets their needs, risk management advice, advise on a selection of insurers and brokers, advise on self-insurance funding, due diligence reports and various other issues which will need the expertise of insurance professionals.
There is now a need for a Part Time Insurance Consultant to join them and assist in providing advice to companies and assist in areas such as analysing policy wordings, ensuring correct cover is in place and general admin support to the consultancy.
The role will be technical and the applicant will need to have an indepth knowledge of all insurance classes of business either from an underwriting background or a senior broking background. Ideally the role will consist of either 2 or 3 working days a week, but this can be discussed upon finding the right candidate.
This role would be ideal for an individual that has worked as a commercial underwriter or broker and has recently taken up retirement or redundancy and wishes to work on a part time basis.
