There is more to finding the right job than box ticking. That said, having ticks in the right boxes is a great place to start.
Competitive salary? Tick! – You’ll get a starting salary of up to £60,000 + benefits + bonus. You will earn about a third of the revenue that you bring in (new and ongoing). They’re confident that by year 3 you will be earning £100,000+.
Financial backing? Tick! – The wealth planning team is part of a larger financial services business and market leader in the mortgages and equity release field. They have a national adviser network and offices in North and South England.
Leads provided? Tick! – You'll get referrals from the wider business and new opportunities from the dedicated marketing team. Leads won’t be a problem. They just need someone with the right attitude, drive and ambition to maximise them.
Support? Tick! – They have all the systems and administration support you would expect from an established business, along with experienced paraplanning support that will allow you to focus on client work.
Hybrid working? Tick! – You’ll manage your own diary. You go into the office when you need to. However, with headquarters in Essex and clients in the local area, it’s great to have the facilities when you need them.
Progression? Tick! - Not only will you get the support and mentoring of a senior management team with vast experience of financial planning, but there are also opportunities to share in the success of the wealth planning business and the potential of equity for the right individual.
Enjoy a challenge? Tick! – It won’t all be easy. The role will be predominantly new business orientated, converting the leads that they generate. You’ll need to have experience of financial advising (albeit they’re flexible on how much) and be level 4 qualified. They’re not daft, the directors understand it will take time, but for someone with a long term focus it will be worth it.
